The skin's defense system, barrier integrity, hydration, and inflammation level are the four essential pillars of a healthy skin barrier. EqualRXN studied the mechanisms behind impaired skin barriers and created the Mushroom B5 Toning Cocktail, aka the Liquid Barrier Rescuer.
We wanted to create a barrier product that is water-light and suitable for the oiliest skins, yet also hydrates and rescues the driest and most sensitive skins. A cocktail of calming ingredients works synergistically to provide hydration, calm the skin and support the skin barrier without feeling heavy.

[ SUPPORTS BARRIER HEALTH ] Targeting all pathways of maintaining skin barrier health, this toner helps to keep the barrier healthy, preventing it from getting to a breaking point.
[ WATER-BASED + LIGHTWEIGHT ] Essence-like texture that contains all the nutrients in supporting the skin barrier.
[ HYDRATING TONER ] Panthenol, glycerin, and beta-glucan attract moisture and protect the skin from dryness.
[ GREAT FOR HAIR & NAILS ] The ingredients list doesn't tell the whole story. The most common form of panthenol used in skincare is D, L-panthenol, which is only 50% bioactive in strengthening the skin. We used 2% D-panthenol, a 100% bioactive panthenol. Because of panthenol, this toner is great for hair and nails too!
[ FOR ALL SKIN TYPES ] No alcohol, no fragrance, 5.5 pH, great for sensitive skin. Oily skin can benefit from the light-weight texture, dry skin can benefit from its hydrating power (layer with a serum and moisture to seal in the moisture).

I have been using this every night for 2 weeks and have really enjoyed the texture! it's not sticky or slimy or greasy, it just glides on and sinks in quickly without feeling tight or dry. I usually don't care about toners but this one is nice under makeup in the morning too so I'm sold lol
Very impressed with this toner! Lightweight and can do multiple layers without feeling heavy or too moisturizing. This is great for anyone with oily skin, I love to also do a few layers before my LED mask because of the antioxidants. Amazing ingredients list as well!
This toner is lightweight, soothing and hydrating. The packaging is minimalist and super cute!
I am on my third bottle of this. It keeps my skin hydrated during winter, and it keeps my skin more calm (less redness and reduces texture. It’s great and I love it
I have very sensitive skin with rosacea type 2 and cannot stand certain ingredients or formulas. This is the perfect toner for my skin. I use it am and pm (directly with my hands) and I don’t have any dehydration fine lines anymore. This will remain in my routine. I even bought it for my 18 yo daughter to balance with her acne products. The only negative point is that it take too long to get delivered to France (more than 1 month).
Really likes the calming effects
This toner is a dream. Light, hydrating, packed with well-studied barrier-supporting ingredients. It’s not sticky & perfect for toner layering. I wish it came in a spray bottle but that’s just personal preference. It's not heavy on the skin which I am very glad for because my skin is more on the oily side and a lot of products can easily be too much. This one is just perfect and works well all year around. <3
I've tried MANY different timers and this is by far and away the best of all! It's so incredibly soothing and helps any dryness or irritation that I may get, especially from using strong actives like tretinoin!
